Hobbes raises $6M to make software feel like a conversation.

San Francisco, CA — Hobbes, the adaptive demo platform that lets software companies deliver instant, conversational product experiences, today announced a $6 million seed round. When we started Hobbes, we kept running into the same problem. A buyer would book a demo, sit through 45 minutes of slides, and leave with a vague sense of what the product did — but no real feel for whether it solved their problem. The best salespeople in the world could close those gaps in a conversation. But there aren't enough of them, and they can't scale.

We're going to use it to deepen the intelligence of the Hobbes platform, build the integrations that put demos everywhere in the buyer journey, and hire the team that will take us to the next level. We're just getting started, and I've never been more certain about the problem we're solving.
